​In-Classroom Voice Overs using Adobe Premiere
Directions
  1. Plug in a USB Microphone
  2. Open the computer's “System Preferences”
  3. Click on “Sound”
  4. Click on “Input”
  5. Select the “Sampson Q1U USB” microphone
  6. Adjust the “Input Volume” to 3/4 of the way up
  7. Close the system preferences
  8. Open “Quicktime”
  9. Click “File>New Audio Recording”
  10. Record your VO from the Script
  11. Click “File>Save”
  12. Save the file to your Video Hard Drive Project Folder
  13. Now you can Import them into Adobe Premiere to edit​
  14. Set audio channels as necessary
  15. Set audio gain as necessary

  9. Click “Adobe Premiere>Preferences>Audio Hardware”
  10. Choose "Sampson Q1U" as the input device
  11. Place your playhead in the timeline where you want to begin the VO
  12. Press the microphone button in the timeline audio track
  13. Record your VO from the Script
  14. Set audio channels as necessary
  15. Set audio gain as necessary
