It's the little things. . . 

A TON of work goes into producing a weekly news show.  I sometimes feel like it is just the expectation these days around school that we see a high quality show every week.  We, as human beings, naturally get used to this quality and take it for granted.  But it's not something that just happens!  It is a never-ending process of students (and me) growing and improving that takes lots of work and sometimes failure to accomplish.

Sometimes a simple "Thank You" can get you through the day and make you look forward to doing it all over again next week.  I recently received this from a colleague:

"Danke schön! You and SHS Heute Team do wonderful things for our school. I so appreciate the little highlight on German Club last week. We may be a minority language at this school, but I hope your segment inspired others to drop by our club and perhaps try a language they never considered before. Thanks again for all you do to showcase little gems and jewels of our school."
